UNM Health Cyber Incident Diverts Ambulances as BYOD Group Claims 36,000 Systems
A cybersecurity event at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center on 26 October diverted ambulances and suspended outpatient surgeries. A new group called BYOD claims the attack and a very large breach; UNM has confirmed the incident and has not commented on the claim.
